Register-ready pack
Ready for the landlord register, and kept ready
From 15 December 2026, every landlord in England has to register each property they let, for £65 a property a year. RentClaro works out each property's deadline, puts everything the register asks for on one page, and reminds you to renew.

What the pack covers
Your deadline, per property
Worked out from each postcode. Registration runs region by region, from West Midlands to South West on 14 November 2027, so properties in different areas can have different deadlines.
When you register
The address, bedrooms, whether it's let, your correspondence address, and any managing agent, superior landlord or freeholder. Each shows as ready or missing, with a link to fix it.
Within 28 days
The gas safety record, electrical report, EPC, tenancy and rent, and any licence, which the register expects within 28 days of registering.
Print or save as a PDF
A clean one-page summary to keep open while you fill in the official form, or to send to whoever registers for you.
Renewal every year
Add the date you registered and we remind you before each yearly renewal, like any other certificate.
EPC planner
Which properties are below the proposed minimum rating, and a plan for each. The EPC planner
Rule changes, for your properties
When a rule changes, like a council's licensing or EPC standards, we tell the landlords it affects, not everyone.
Official service only
RentClaro isn't the register and can't register for you. The pack links straight to the official GOV.UK service.
When's your deadline?
Check any postcode now, or add your properties to see every deadline in one place.
Subject to Parliament: the register's regulations were laid before Parliament on 9 September 2026 and still need approval. The dates and the £65 fee come from the government's announcements and could change. The draft regulations.

Questions landlords ask
Does RentClaro register my properties for me?
No. You register on the official GOV.UK service. The pack gets everything ready and keeps it current, so registering takes minutes, not an afternoon of digging.
What if my properties are in different regions?
Each property gets its own deadline from its postcode, and they all show on your dashboard.
Do I need my certificates on the day I register?
No. The register gives you 28 days after registering a property to add its certificate and tenancy details. The pack shows those separately.
